I look forward to a time when government is only taught in history class

Lou said that to me the other day, “I look forward to a time when government is only taught in history class.”

I totally agree. Don’t you remember a bunch of years ago when you didn’t constantly think about government tyranny? When you only worried about stuff that seemed to matter to you? I do. And I wanna get back to that. To where all I think about is lovin’ on my wife, talkin’ with my friends, audio gear, cats, writing and reading books, radio, video production, movies I’ve seen, travel, and all that.

In that spirit, here are a bunch of photos from this week of cats and audio gear. MEW! – MWD

I’ve read a lot of history, which gave me a view of the world that made sense to me. Then came that damned red pill…

You are right, Michael. Life used to be so much simpler. The State was always there, but in the background, where it could be fairly easily ignored. I sometimes question wether the tyranny is increasing THAT quickly, or am I just more sensitive to it?

There’s no doubt I notice it more, but it’s very clear to me that things are getting worse all the time, and it’s picking up speed.

Will things get better within my lifetime? I just don’t know. But sometimes I wish I could live another thousand years, just so I can read the history books on this time of overbearing Statism, and see how people live without it. I’d be fascinated to see what is being taught in history classes of the time.
