If you use uTorrent for sharing Freedom Feens episodes (or other, less important, things), you may have noticed that after the latest update, it now has ads. The newer version is worth updating to, it’s more secure and has less problems with connecting to seeds and peers. However, you can remove the ads. It’s easy.
Go to Options/Preference/Advanced.
Search in the filter field for offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
Single-click it and set the value to “False.”
Do the same thing for the terms gui.show_plus_upsell
and then for
offers.left_rail_offer
Next time you open uTorrent, all the annoyances will be gone.

Worked perfectly. The only difference in my settings was that gui.show_plus_upsell was already set to false. The other two needed changed.
