This won’t work, Michael, because there is one difference between the two parties: Republicans generally TALK like libertarians (freedom, free enterprise, less taxes…), but a careful analysis of their ACTIONS shows that they don’t really mean it. Democrats, on the other hand, TALK like communists (let’s rob evil rich folk & get all the money from them…), though their actions don’t go quite so far.

Which means that when smart conservatives begin to see through the tricks, they become libertarians. But what liberals WANT is communism. In fact, that is their usual complaint about Obama: that he’s not communist ENOUGH. GWBush certainly pissed off leftists, but he didn’t turn them into libertarians, did he? If anything, he pushed them in the opposite direction*. So why would Romney be different?

*For example, Bush made plenty of Democrats momentarily “anti-war”, but how long did that last once their guy was in office?
